Metal Jacketed Gaskets

The metal jacketed gaskets consists of a metal covering around a flexible metal filling wich makes it adaptable when sujected to pressure. The metal covering provides resistance to high temperatures, pressures, chemical attack, mechanical and other operating conditions on wich its choice depends. The filling also provides the flexibility and comprensibility conditions that are required for simple, perfect sealing.

This configuration makes the gasket ideal for use the chemical, petrochemical industries and industry in general, where the pressure, temperature and corrosion conditions are determining factors in achieving suitable sealing action.

Dimensions and shapes

Metal jacketed gaskets are manufactured in a very range of shapes: circular, oval, rectangular, square and rhomboid etc.

These gaskets do not have any dimensional limitations, nevertheless, in function of the commercial with of the materials employed, it is sometimes necessary to employ welding, wich is performed in with welding procedures that have been officially approved by specialised companies, with the certification being available to ur costumers.

The standard thickness is 3.2 mm. although depending on usage, this may be increased or decreased.

They are manufactured to order and following current standars.
